Try a skillet with a lid!
Eh, I finished off the pizza, and Iâm not sure when there will be more to reheat (tonightâs will be all eaten, 'cause grown-ass sons). Iâll think about it next time, as I just bought a lid for my cast iron frying pan.
Iâll do microwave for a quick warmup, then toaster oven to finish. Works ok and is much quicker. I might have a higher tolerance for substandard crust though.

I usually just go buy a whole new pizza instead of fussing with all this drama.
See I knew there was a catch
Soft drinks are usually carbonated but donât have to be carbonated to qualify as a soft drink.

The term basically is about the absence of alcohol.
Of course, your own personal preferred definition may varyâŚ
I am aware of this (now). I think I have always equated soft drink and soda (carbonated beverage) in my head.
People adding the phrase âFull Stopâ at the end of whatever statement they are making, as if that gives the statement additional credibility.
Full Stop.
If used correctly itâs not that it gives it extra credibility. Itâs that theyâre pointing out that no additional qualifiers are needed for the statement to be true.
A: Saving Private Ryan is the best WWII movie thatâs fictional.
B: No, Saving Private Ryan is the best movie, full stop.
(If Saving Private Ryan is the best movie of all then it of course it is also the best fictional movie, the best WWII movie, and the best fictional WWII movie.)
But I suppose if someone was misusing it then that would be pretty annoying.
I think itâs because in the UK a period is called a âfull stopâ, so itâs just like saying âSaving Private Ryan is the best movie, periodâ
I donât mind British folks using the word âjabâ to talk about getting shots, but I am highly annoyed when Americans use the term.
Full stop is the equivalence of someone saying /thread
It annoys me when people do that. It normally is not based on as good a conclusion as they think.
Whatâs that? /thread?
/thread
I think it has sort of morphed into this in the US because of Americansâ misunderstanding of the original usage
Itâs stupid that a serving of Peeps is 3 bunnies when they come stuck together in fours.
Also, I miss Egghead.
