I don’t know if a) Rittenhouse is completely lying, which seems likely. Or b) the Trump campaign is a joke and did indeed call Rittenhouse, which would be hilarious.
Isn’t Rittenhouse a 2nd amendment hero?
He’s a hero among some 2nd Amendment folks.
Among others, he was a dumb kid and an example of how abusing rights is a great way to incent people to infringe on those rights.

He was a MAGA darling and they won’t allow him to leave. It would be embarrassing if the person they fundraised for and paraded at TPUSA and put on Tucker Carlsen and arranged a meeting with Trump briefly broke out of the cult. You’re not allowed to leave cults.

It’s weird - MAGA is generally okay with Rittenhouse again now that they bullied him into voting for Trump, but this came out in that like 36-hour period when he’d escaped.

They’re the victims though. Tim Pool says he always had full editorial control of all of his content. “I had editorial control” is another way to say “I willingly regurgitated Russian disinformation.”
