If it were me, on getting that news, I’d self quarantine, do 2 at-home tests 24-36 hours apart and confirm with a PCR test if either one is positive.

Also, we can’t say if they were on the bus because of HIPAA, I’d take that to mean they were definitely on the bus. I don’t think in-stadium contact is any concern, especially since your team didn’t have much to cheer for anyway.

Telling you that someone in the entire stadium has covid is downright weird.

Yeah, i think there will always be someone positive in a stadium full of people.

Not in the entire stadium. In the away fans section.

How big is that? Still seems unnecessary to me for an outdoor event.

There were hundreds in the away fans section. I agree that hearing that someone in the section tested positive is basically useless information, as I automatically assume that.

I got a second email a little while ago that said there were COVID positive people on both buses. I am 4 days post exposure, no symptoms. I’ll do a rapid test tomorrow and Saturday.

Rapid test one was negative 5 days post exposure. Yay!

Rapid test #2 also negative, so my mid-50s Pfizer powered body managed to fight off 8 hours of close contact with COVID while unmasked.

maybe they were at the other side of the bus?

I suspect the bus is all one air-space. Unless you have pretty good ventilation, there’s not that much difference in how much covid (or cigarette smoke, or whatever) ends up at one end of a space or the other.

This. In addition people were roaming the aisles dancing, getting drinks, going to the bathroom, socializing,…

I went on a field trip with my daughter’s 5th grade class. About a half hour on the bus each way with about 30 kids and a few adults. Most kids maskless. No symptoms so I’m hoping I’m still in the club. Will get tested Monday at work since it’s really convenient.

My family has all had a low-grade sore throat for a while, but my wife is feeling worse today and has some congestion. So far, we’ve tested negative, and I think I’m still in the club. Fingers crossed. I’m not quite normal but I’d say I’m at like 95% today.

I have developed a sore throat. My oldest son got over a cold recently (tested negative), younger son is in the thick of a cold (tested negative), so I’m not too worried I’ll later test positive, but it is a nuisance.

This is the fourth cold our family has gotten in the last 6-8 weeks, since our kids’ school dropped the mask mandate, coincidentally.

Ugh. I am fighting a cold too. I think the double digit number of months wearing masks has caused us to lose our immunity to other bugs, unfortunately.

Hope you feel better soon!

We got yet another ā€œYour kid has had close exposureā€¦ā€ note from school last week, but there hasn’t been any symptoms. This is the first time I haven’t tested him after getting the note (the first time they haven’t required it to remain in school).

I’m still sitting on 8 at-home tests. I haven’t used any yet. I feel like I don’t want to waste any, but I guess if I"m not using them, that’s when they’re going to waste.

Yeah, check the expiration dates.
