Actuariality in doubt.

phone is rated too high. emergency clarification only when text confusion is too great or too many characters.

I see you speak fluent Upper Midwest. But I feel like this mixes in some Minnesota, Wisconsin, Chicago, & Yooper sub-dialects. It’s subtle & there’s definitely overlap.

Sure thing, Henry Higgins.

It’s DNGAF Friday before a holiday weekend. Time for @T-roy and @Bro to get to work.

I was assuming T-roy was from the south side of Milwaukee hence your detection of the Chicago influence. I also assumed he spent some actual time in Green Bay and picked up the anahey from the Yoopers. But you caught me out in the usage of the one or tree, distinctly Minnesota and added for exaggerated impact. Too much Charlie Berens.

Blockquote Time for @T-roy and @Bro to get to work.

So here’s my weekend plans: tonight I’m gonna go play Magic: the Gathering at the local nerd-fest with my two sons. Tomorrow afternoon I’m going to watch a EuroCup match and drink beers with a buddy. Tomorrow night I’m playing a local casino poker tournament, and Sunday morning I’m planning run a 5k road race.

A) When, exactly, do you think I’ll have time to “get to work”? And

  1. I’m still not sure why I’m being called out here. @T-roy seems totally competent in whatever he’s doing. And,

D) I must be one of those Type II actuaries.

Go spend quality time with the famz!!!

But what do you want? On the spectrum from your next “I do” to a firm handshake at the end of the night, what are you looking for? Your approach must consider your expected outcome and where you’re starting from.

It seems thus far that he’s not secured any dates. Not sure if he’s even received more than one message from the same woman.

Go workie workie.

I’m getting conflicting messages here, unless you’re saying quality time with the family is work (which is true sometimes).

Go pick one.

firm handshakes went out of style with the pandemic. rather than do that, just wave.
