I’m missing 2 words. And object to the pangram being a single word. Yesterday I used some hints from reddit to get QB, which doesn’t really count but at least requires being close.
Yeah, wtf is PEKE?? I’m not a dog person so had never heard of it.
I usually get to genius, then use their hints when I get stuck. Never use other hints since they post the answers next day.
It comes up quasi-often in crosswords, so I am definitely used to that word. Would have eventually gotten it from the NYT grid.
Definitely not my day, but finally made it to genius.
I’m slogging through and running out of ideas. Must be some big ones missing with some obvious letter combo that I’m baking on.
NYT doesn’t like bacon. LARDON is not an allowed word, with neither the correct spelling nor the American spelling accepted.
Woot actually got queen bee today. Who knew you could spell YECH like YECCH and it would count?
Man today’s puzzle has a lot of words. I passed genius a while ago, have 54 words, so 13 to go.

Got to genius pretty quickly. Sometimes it only takes a few minutes and sometimes I work on it off and on all day. Got to QB using the grid. I think that’s the first time I’ve gotten to QB without using the hints that come later in the morning.
Cool. But the reason I started the puzzle was to make myself tired and now it’s solved
I fell a couple words short yesterday, but got to QB today. That long A word was tricky for me.

Ooph, finally made QB today. Needed the long A hint, struggled with kebab And a lot of the words I felt were borderline ( blockable, bookable, cookable, callable )
Got QB using the PG hint from Reddit. But then my final word was color
Stuck on the long R word. Hoping it just pops into my head later today.
Hah. Just got it. we had one of those machines for our giant backyard when I was a kid. Going to visit my folks after Xmas. I bet it’s still in their shed.
Just missed QB yesterday by 1 word which I should have had: BOOKABLE
I think that was my last word yesterday.
