This sounds similar to the plane that crashed with the Wagner chief on it.
Interesting, Google refuses to map the Crimean Peninsula as either Ukraine or Russia. It’s just “Crimean Peninsula”.
I wanted to see where Belograd was. It’s quite near the border, but Russia has confirmed Ukraine downed its military plane inside Russian airspace. The Russian invaders call it terrorism as they continue to push the propaganda that the Ukrainian military is full of Nazis.
:exams: if this is what happened here. Even :exams:er when I think about how so many ultra MAGA types are not only anti-Ukraine, but also seemingly pro-Russia.
Are you trying to trigger our PTSD (or perhaps PESD)?
Apparently Poland started WWII by forcing Germany to invade them.
Fixed that.
The old, “Look what you made me do!” excuse, used by abusers the world over.
Breaking: Navalny has died in prison.
Same “excuses” being made by Putin & co as it pertains to the deaths that happened in their modern Gulag.
This is a database of stories from some Gulag survivors.

A brave man of principle.
I often wonder if he perhaps could have accomplished more from abroad rather than return to Russia to stand trial. He was one of the only people in Russia that Putin was afraid of.
[red font]I’m shocked that such a thing would happen a month before the next Russian presidential election.[/red font]
It’s really sad Navalny died so young.
Kasparov (the chess champion from the 80s) moved out of Russia after similar issues with Putin and he is now off the radar.
ETA: IIRC Kasparov was one of the original opponents of Putin before it was really clear there were issues in Russia. There were stories of Kasparov getting kidnapped on a train on the way to a rally and other wierd stuff like that.
Kasparov still plays in a rapid tournament or two a year and tweets about how bad Putin is. I’m not sure I’d call him off the radar.
I remember this from 2021. I really do hope the US follows through on this one.
Not sure how much more there is the US can do short of shooting at them at this point
Biden’s a forgetful old man, according to recent legal documents. This is probably one of the things he forgot.
Send Ukraine every armament they can. And keep sending.
Navalny dying now is no accident. Putin is trying to make Biden look weak before the US elections.
If the western world wants to beat Putin, they have to cripple his war machine. And the only real way to do that is via sanctions (working but slowly) and the battlefield (Russia is regaining advantage now due to shorter supply lines and US GOP intrasigence).
Unfortunately the Speaker of the House seems to be (R)ussian.
We gave them too many trucks in ww2
