Yeah, that sounds bonkers. Ukraine has their problems and maybe doesn’t belong in NATO, but any defense of the Russian invasion is without merit.

Definitely. Hitler and Stalin were as evil as it gets. I only mentioned Nazis as Putin accused the Ukrainians of Nazi-like behaviour as a reason for invading.
What is more evil? Doing bad things for a cause? Or doing bad things without a cause?

Former world chess champion had a serious but non fatal accident. Seems he made some innocuous statements about wanting the war to end. I would advise Garry Kasparov to be very careful.
Kasparov has had several attempts on his life throughout the years. But yeah, hope he’s being extra careful now.
Karpov probably just accidentally came in contact with a neurotoxin. Happens all the time. Lucky he didn’t fall out of a window or swim into some bullets.
