Gordy the weatherman
Joe Bryan who served a few decades for the murder of wife. His conviction was based solely on the testimony of an “expert” who said that the blood splatter patterns on a flashlight in Mr. Bryan’s car was similar to someone who stabbed someone while holding the flashlight. There were 2 major problems with this:
- The expert had a whopping 40 hours experience from a certification class a few months prior, and he later recanted his testimony.
- The splatters on the flashlight were later (after DNA technology evolved) to be proven to be red paint and not blood.
He was finally released a few years ago and at least dies in his own home and not behind bars.
Units would help here… 40 minutes? 40 years? Hours perhaps?

RIP Ethel Kennedy
And it’s just a box of rain
Or a ribbon for your hair
Such a long, long time to be gone
And a short time to be there
RIP Phil
very sad, also a perfect fit as Phoebe’s mother on Friends
I associate Teri Garr with Melinda Dillon. Not just because of Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
Great actress. RIP
I first remember her from the Sniper episode of MASH
