Dryden was an icon and excelled off the ice as well as on it. RIP.
RIP Rick Davies of Supertramp. Just listened to Bloody Well Right.
I was listening to Give a Little Bit last night.
Iâve been hearing about some of the lesser known (at least to me) Volman appeared on - Bang A Gong by T Rex. Hungry Heart by Bruce Springsteen. And Strawberry Shortcakes.
We saw Flo & Eddie in the free 1993 fund-raiser concert for the St Louis flood. Last year we saw the Turtles with Volman, + Ron Dante (of the Archies) as lead singer (in place of the late Howard Kaylan). Volman wasnât 100%. ![]()
He wrote Goodbye Stranger (sung by Michael Scott as Goodbye Toby).
Another Flo passes away.. Polly Holliday, age 88.
You can kiss my grits.
I first learned of Flaco when he recorded with Dwight, I wasnât exposed to anything like this as a child. Amazing musician.

Robert Redford - 89
I never felt he was a great actor (tough to go against Newman), but he had some iconic roles (and did them well) and actually got better as he got older. Great director.
I have seen 42 of his movies and all nine movies he directed
Also, played Mr Death in a Twilight Zone episode.
My wife thought Robert Redford was the handsomest man on Earth so I was always a bit jealous of him. But I enjoyed him in many roles.
RIP Robert.
You just moved up a spot!
Hopefully to number 1! After Julie Christie dies, my wife will be number 1 on my list.
I have seen 20 or so. Interesting that you say he wasnât great, made me think. I agree with your overall assessment.
Ordinary People is one of the greatest films of all time.
The last Tuskegee Airman has died, at age 100.
