RIP NFL Network
ESPN to get NFL Network, rights to RedZone from NFL for equity stake - ESPN
It would be nice if NFL Network replayed every game during the week in their entirety AND notified the consumer providers of NFL Network which game was being shown, so I don’t have to clog my “library” with every game. Just the one I want.
Maybe ESPN will do that.
Don’t count on it. ESPN only makes things worse.
Eh. Only if you work for them.
Maybe they’ll add Red Zone to the ESPN+ package.
Davey Johnson. 82. Very solid ball player and excellent manager.
Ken Dryden. NHL goalie and then politician/govt official.
so odd to me how he had that one breakout HR year, almost a third of his total
Obviously steroids [/red]
See Bob Cerv. Interesting life.
Jacoby Ellsbury also had an outlier HR year vs. career.
Bernard Gilkey as well, but in ’ 96 who knows if he injected
people were pretty sure Brady Anderson did
Ellsbury is a good example, his whole year was exceptional, for him
Dryden, Giacomin and Parent all within 2 weeks
crazy
Arthur Jones. age 39, retired lineman on the Ravens last SB championship and brother of UFC champion Jon Jones.
No cause of death released.

Mike Greenwell, 62. Long time OF for the Red Sox. Good hitter, not easy following the LF traditional of Williams, Yastremski, and Rice but he did a pretty good job of it. RIP
the gator? no way
The Muscle Hamster! RIP
Smurf-turf legend. died in police custody after a home invasion/burglary? made $22M in NFL salary in his playing career. Not a great story to follow I suspect
Jesus Montero - 35 motorcycle accident, was in hospital 2 weeks before passing. Former top prospect of the Yankees. Weight and PEDs defined his playing career as he never lived up to his potential and kicked around several organizations.
RIP
I’m calling chess a sport, so I think this goes here:
