That is a critical issue to Texas voters though!
They have tweeted about it, with the image being a UFO helping someone across Trump’s border fence. The joke is racism.
That show was so fun.
it was very entertaining.
Awaiting Season 4 to drop on Netflix (soon!). I know it was shown somewhere else (SyFy?), but I did not add them to my library.
I think we recorded them from Syfy when they originally aired.
I thought it was customary to give the Roman salute to or when referencing the Great Leader, not in honor of an agency.
I think the frog makes the normally rational decision that the scorpion “wouldn’t kill himself just to kill me”.
He erred by not considering the fundamentally evil nature of the scorpion.
Yeah, the frog isn’t as self-protective as he could be. But, of course, the scorpion is just evil to his core.
I’ll guess that Cornyn is okay with that reading.
Milke Lee is apparently having a meltdown on Twitter over the fact that the new DoD religion options do not include LDS under Christianity (but do include JW). Lots of MAGA people are telling him that the DoD is right, and he isn’t happy about that either.
I’m not a theologian, but, I think a large part of it is the Trinity. On the surface it seems (to me at least) that if you don’t at least believe in the Trinity, then a lot of Christianity doesn’t make much sense. In a way, it’s like the Jesus version of the Parallel Postulate. Belief systems without it are possible, but are they Christianity in a meaningful sense?
On the other hand, ultimately theology is basically just our best guess at what God/ultimate reality is like, so,
.
For me, the bigger question in this context is why the department of defense or war or whatever even has such a list in the first place.
JW have the same issue though
They are probably further away from the traditional concept of the trinity than the LDS are
It’s because there are religious wackos in charge. This is all part of Project 2025. That faction is planning to turn our government into a Christian theocracy.
