I never assumed I would ever agree with MTG but she has touched on one point in particular that has bothered me very much.
Trump says the USA will bomb Iran back to the Stone Age. That primarily hurts innocent Iranian people whom Trump supposedly is trying to give their freedom to. If the USA does destroy the Iranian infrastructure, everyone in Iran, rather than just those in power and their followers, will hate America.
This post is a good example of how Trump controls and manipulates.
It is a loyalty test. He recently had the full commitment statements from the Christian Right. So far in support of him they blaspheme by calling him Jesus like. He then humiliates them by making statements directly opposed to what they say they belief. They are left with a choice admit they were wrong about Trump and make a stand against Trump or ignore/accept the statement and follow Trump that much deeper into the pit. MTG faced this same behavior and rather than succumb she stood by her beliefs and broke away from Trump.
It is a power flex. By stating crimes before he commits them he is flexing his power over the Rule of Law. By cursing and behaving in a way that defies decorum he flexes his power over social norms.
We must create the next generation of terrorists, so the Global War on Terror can continue with our children and grandchildren fighting, so that corporate profit can continue.
It’s quite disturbing if you think too much about how Federal and State governments are making it illegal to teach about the bad things the US has done and to have a patriotic slant to the teaching of history. You end up with a population that’s mystified as to why other countries would hate the greatest country on Earth. Must be jealousy and hating the freedom Americans have and not something else.
in an interview over the phone with Fox’s Trey Yingst on Sunday morning, the president made another piece of news: The U.S. was directly involved in efforts to destabilize and overthrow the Iranian government weeks before strikes were launched across Iran[…]
“We sent them a lot of guns. We sent them through the Kurds, and the president says he thinks the Kurds kept them,” Yingst said on Fox News, paraphrasing the president.
Surely, gifting more firearms to the Middle East will earn that Nobel Peace Prize.
