House Republican Conference Chair Rep. Lisa McClain of Michigan called Mamdani a “communist,” a label which he has previously rejected.
“Zohran Mamdani is a dangerous communist who is likely to DESTROY NYC through his dedication to communist ideology. Let’s be clear: COMMUNISM HAS FAILED everywhere it has been tried. NYC will be no different,” she asserted in a post on X.
Mamdani said last year during an appearance on “The View” that he is “not a Communist.”
Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, responded to Mamdani’s controversial remark on Thursday by asserting, “When communists rule, individual rights — invariably — are taken away.”
Cruz: “Communists take individual rights away.”
Also Cruz: “Individual rights - especially the ones those dirty goddamned liberals want - need to be taken away. But that’s not me being a communist when I say that; that’s just me asserting the divine right of conservatives to rule over various aspects of some people’s lives. It’s totally different.”

Katie is a career Republican, a Trump administration appointee who married Stephen at a Trump hotel at a ceremony attended by Trump.
I’m sure she doesn’t object to his white supremacy, etc.

The White House said Tuesday that President Donald Trump is “discussing a range of options” to acquire Greenland, making clear that using the US military is not off the table.
“President Trump has made it well known that acquiring Greenland is a national security priority of the United States, and it’s vital to deter our adversaries in the Arctic region,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a Tuesday statement to CNN.
“The President and his team are discussing a range of options to pursue this important foreign policy goal, and of course, utilizing the U.S. Military is always an option at the Commander in Chief’s disposal.”
Someone really needs to take away the keys.

I always wonder who these adversaries are. It can’t be Russia, because Putin’s a good guy and best buds with Trump. Maybe we’re afraid of Norway?

I don’t know who America’s adversaries are in the Arctic but Canada has to consider the USA as one of our adversaries because of our resources there.
