So stupid. No one thinks that he and he alone should pay higher taxes. But as to the overall tax burden, I would gladly have the Trump tax cuts expire for everyone at my income level and higher, and feel that way even without considering all the harm from other provisions of the bill.

I get the impression that Democrat party supporters would be more willing to see Democrat party politicians going to prison for this than Republican party supporters would be willing to see Republican politicians going to prison.

That’s the general response I’ve seen by lefties being confronted with the potential of Clinton being a client by GOP supporters. The GOP supporters seem less willing to see Trump being prosecuted for this.

I’m a fan of Obama but if he commits a crime he should be charged and tried as such. In fact it’s crucial he is to demonstrate equality before the law.
But there’s a fun trick to avoid being sentenced for crimes, don’t do crimes…

Country above party. I side with the party that I think violates that principle less often, but expect them to be decent people (and more frequently they are, for the little that’s worth.) If they aren’t, straight to jail (after being charged and tried.)
