In fairness, the article cites communism, but conservative rhetoric in the US rarely draws the distinction between communism and socialism as they’re too busy associating “the libs” with teh big scary -isms.

Robinson has previously railed against communists as well as socialists but probably doesn’t know what either ‘ism is. I doubt if he knew that Mao, Castro and Pol Pot were communists or he wouldn’t have recommended reading what they wrote.
