Yeah I don’t even attempt to follow who’s loyal to whom these days.
Didn’t she turn on him during his term, when he failed to build the wall?
Quite likely, I don’t follow that side very closely
Maybe she is just disappointed she wasn’t given the French Ambassador position. Who know with that crowd? (Meaning not Rs in general, but the group that wants the cameras all focused on them all the time)
Ann Coulter as Ambassador to France?
I think the French would probably torpedo that.
Here’s the clip

I missed that parable. I don’t get how they align this shit with Jesus’ teachings.
Headline and article text don’t align, but i won’t quibble more than that.
Being willing to die for your beliefs and being willing to kill for your beliefs are two very different things.
Even once that distinction is drawn, I think a lot of people today look at persecution and martyrdom as dramatic proof of their faith, while downplaying the everyday living of a life of service to others as somehow less.
Excellent take.
I agree the article is lacking that’s why I linked the video as well.
Yeah, I figured that video would offer some context, or show other things not quoted, but I don’t like to click on that kind of stuff to pollute my search history, or even to add view count to idiots, as well as to offend my delicate sensibilities ![]()
Use dark mode . . . or incognito mode . . . or whatever it’s called . . .
Yeah, if I have to do it, that’s a good idea. Still, I don’t really want to spend the mental capital on it. One more thing to make me unhappy.
No surprise on either. I expect that Trump was thinking the gov’t wouldn’t get a search warrant to find the stuff he said he didn’t have. And, in the unlikely case they did, he would get political advantage by playing the martyr. Heads I win, tails I win.
In related news, I switched by registration to “Republican” this year so I can have a voice. Yesterday I got a call where the caller ID said “Donald Trump”. That’s a first. I assume fund-raising off the indictment.
When Fox is way too liberal for you
I checked, and this story is still up there if you choose to sully your search history
Again a bill rather than a quote, but Austin and Dallas had passed ordinances in the 2010 and 2015 (so not recently) mandating that construction workers get at least a 10 minute water break every 4 hours. The party of local government in Texas just passed a state bill stopping all Texas cities from having such rules.
Disclaimer: I do not live in Texas, so I do not know what the top problems are. But I bet construction workers taking water breaks in a state that is ridiculously hot is not one of them.
As usual, “the cruelty is the point”.
