not working for me today
Hmm, I’m just getting a blank screen.
My first guess is NULL.
75, 85% on Redactle Unlimited.
It said I wasn’t done until I filled in the years, and I cheated to get those dates. I have no idea on anything about this war.
yeah, I’m also getting a blank screen.
I did a Redactle Unlimited today which was much different than what @Mathman did. If you do a random puzzle from that site, it’ll likely be different than I did, but I’ll blur it out anyway.

I got hits for the UK, England, Scotland, Wales, law. Then I got hits for king, queen, royal, marriage and family. Yup. Sure 'nuff. The subject was incest.
I was curious what would happen if I tried to solve the blank screen. So I typed in a standard starter, not, and got this:
I solved today’s Redactle (#127) in 1 guesses with an accuracy of 0.00%. Played at https://www.redactle.com/
Oh, and the article topic appears in the personal stats as being “undefined”.
And, meep, here are the day’s stats:
- Globally, 2775 players have solved today’s Redactle so far
- Global Median: 1.00 Guesses; 0.00% Accuracy
- Global Average: 1.04 Guesses; 0.04% Accuracy
stats update:
Global Stats
- Globally, 4394 players have solved today’s Redactle so far
- Global Median: 1.00 Guesses; 0.00% Accuracy
- Global Average: 1.05 Guesses; 0.05% Accuracy
The accuracy could possibly make sense, I suppose. .05% could mean 2 people tried the word undefined for their one guess. The median # of guesses seems obvious. But what would be an explanation for the 1.05 guess average?

Once I got the 2nd word in the title, I had 5 incorrect guesses before getting the right one.

I got some early hits that made me think it was a person or group of people. In the mix of all that, I failed to try ‘ocean,’ ‘water,’ or even ‘world,’ which are normally in my top 20 or so. I found ‘International Court of Justice,’ which cost me about 20 guesses.

World sidetracked me into a few areas. I tried hope without a really good reason and that got me to cape of good hope, which got me to south africa, then new zealand, then finally antarctic got me honed in.

I had ancient religion by 27, but I had hits with Greek and Roman, and I just flailed around with a few filler words hoping it would help. Took me a good while to remember the Celts.
110 - 59% cheated on the middle word

I came close to cheating on the first word, but came up with it in the end. I thought it was going to be the name of a particular religion. I got nowhere until Ireland and Wales at about 60. But even then I wasn’t sure that was a real clue. I wandered around until mythology at 181. Then I thought it was just mythology since Greek and Roman were mentioned. But it still seemed mostly focused on Ireland and I finally tried celtic at 206. Religion came at 212. The end was only two guesses away, but they took way more time than the other guesses.
i got greece &roman early, didnt think to look elsewhere
whenever i see Centuries with BC, AD, BCE, CE I play Ancient
