It’s quiet around here today.
I seem to be craving cheesy grits for some reason.
Need a poll.
I don’t understand accounting.
Assets= Liabilities + Owner’s Equity
Profit = Revenue - Expenses
Debits = Credits
more like, I don’t understand why people make it so complicated.
Do I need a poll?
- Yes
- No

Pandora interrupted my listening to announce that my uninterrupted listening starts right now.
Who in the hell decided that we needed parentheses to denote negative numbers??? What was so wrong with the negative sign that needed fixing?
Otherwise, I’m generally all about that ASC 606 revenue lifestyle. I think.
Pandora always interrupts…
It’s actually easier to tell, to me, that something is negative if it’s set off in () than if there’s this little, tiny, - in front of it. Too easy to overlook.
the challenge, though, is when people don’t align the units in their numbers in columns, if there are () on some numbers and not others. This:
Is so much harder for me to understand than this:
For that I prefer red font for negative because that is even easier for me to see, but I get what you’re saying.
[red]But I’m color blind!!![/red]
Red is great when you’re viewing it on a monitor. When you print it out in B&W, not so much.
And I know, I know, only dinosaurs print anything out these days. Just call me and Actuarisaurus Asinus.
Good luck with that using a monochrome screen.
I needed to clean our second story windows.
It was either open them up and lean out the window while stretching uncomfortably to reach every last square inch of glass or climb up a structure consisting of a series of metal bars between two upright lengths of metal.
I chose the latter.
Monochrome screen? B&W printer? Wired headphones are back in vogue. Am I missing all of the cool hipster trends right now?
Gonna go see about some Zubaz pants, brb.
Get some cassette tapes before they’re replaced by the 8-track!
I’m listening to records on a Victrola, I’m two steps ahead this time!
My grandmother gave me her ~1950 Zenith console radio/turntable, one of these days I’m going to fit it with a Bluetooth amplifier and some new speakers and have a blast with it.
