 Although I do think that traffic cops/traffic law exists to line the pockets of small towns and for no other reason, in this case yeah it was about how the cars on the side/in the ditch were arranged.

I guess the garage isnā€™t going to get cleaned up today.

I have to present to a vc firm this week. I built my presentation myself because the guy I want to lean on is in the jungle in Peru right now.

He managed to get some wifi last night, saw my presentation and was basically ā€˜uh, noā€™.

Guess Iā€™m scrambling today to rebuild. No access to graphics either.

So, no garage cleanup today.

My garage isnā€™t getting cleaned up today either. Because Iā€™m feeling lazy and itā€™s pretty overwhelming.

Good luck on the presentation

I was scrolling the bourbon thread thinking itā€™d be interesting to acquire a taste, maybe learn to appreciate a good bourbon. But I donā€™t like the taste to start with.

Then I remembered that during COVID I developed a taste for port. And I had enough to actually develop a taste for it. Tried everything from $9 bottles to $80 bottles. I prefer the $9 bottles.

I think bourbon would be wasted on me.

What? no.

not sure, but theyā€™re probably guided to another world time and time again.

I am rewatching breaking bad. Walter White is a chemist but his name is Heisenberg after a quantum physicist. I wonder why they didnā€™t pick a chemistā€™s name.

I hate the idea of standardized testing, but I looove the solitude of proctoring them. My supervisor has to make me share that duty with my colleagues sometimes. :man_shrugging:

The solution in the back was 6 steps but you only need to go right 2, left 3, and right 4!

Went to a fancy schmancy pizza place for Girls Night Out last night.

They have this pizza that I like but it contains fresh tomatoes AND fire roasted tomatoes AND tomato sauce. Itā€™s just a little too much tomato.

So I asked for no fire roasted tomatoesā€¦ just the sauce and the fresh tomatoes. This confused them highly. ā€œBut if youā€™re trying to avoid tomatoes it will still have tomatoes!ā€ Iā€™m not trying to avoid tomatoesā€¦ you just put way too many on normally!!!

Meanwhile one of my friends who is allergic to everything ordered a vegan crust, vegan cheese, and ham and bacon.

Iā€™m sure we raised some eyebrows in the kitchen.

vegan crust? gluten free maybe? Iā€™d think crust would normally be veganā€¦flour, sugar, water, yeast, salt, oil.

The pizza place I worked in high schoolā€¦there was an occasional ā€œno cheeseā€ request, but that was about it for the odd request.

I think the normal crust has Parmesan cheese on or in it as well as being brushed with butter.

The vegan crust was also gluten free, however, which this friend also needed.

My sister has a pellet gun. But it failed and she bought another one. They told her she had been using the wrong type of pellets which caused the damage. She thought there should have been clear instructions.
I asked if she was considering a pellet court.

We ought to throw a beauty pageant here on GoA. Most attractive shoes, perhaps throw in some holiday socks to make it festive.
