One of the trains I was taking today was delayed because we had a swan on the tracks.
People were befuddled but very accepting (its interesting how people are ok with being delayed due to an animal at risk vs human errors)
And because your royalty owns the swans. Not so in the US, we would have just run over it; places to go, people to see, things to doā¦

According to outlook, in the last 2 days there were 27 unsuccessful attempts to hack my email from almost as many different countries.

The microwave popcorn bag I just popped has a This Side Down written on it, but it is on a trifold side, folded away from the bottom. So when you put it in the microwave with the correct side down, the only writing you see on the top of the bag says This Side Down.

People who āpractice meditationā always sound fake. (Or maybe itās because itās in the context of PD, and PD presenters always sound fake.)
Iāve had some students do meditatio/ yoga type stuff. Seems initially pretentious, but none of the students actually were.
Had one guy hop out of the car after a very long drive, through down a yoga mat in the middle of the campsites and start doing yoga. Even before unpacking or introductions lol.
I bought a 1.7 liter bottle of Mexican coffee liquor last week. Figured it would be as good as Kahlua.
It is not.
Itās gonna have to be my new āhey wanna try a shot of this?ā when company comes over. I got rid of a lot of Chinese liquor with this strategy.

Maybe you can use it up in Irish coffee where the taste wonāt be as prominent.

Iām mainly just annoyed that this is taking up quarterly all-staff meeting time that could be spent on academic topics. Iām just quietly not participating in it so I donāt interfere with the participation of others.

A mix of thoughts;
My vision was blurry this morning. Turns out I only had one contact lens in, and Iād already rinsed out my lens case. My contacts are not disposable and have to be ordered. I was getting ready to remove the p-trap to see if it was in there, then saw the lens lying on the counter.
