I had to get back on FB because I wrote a friend’s number down wrong. For like 3-4 months, I’ve been inviting some rando to the wedding. 
(No wonder I didn’t get a response for so long.)

We were both coming off bad breakups when we met. Jaspess II’s ex was one of those ultra MAGA types, and my ex might like women, NTTAWWT. We found each other at the right time, and discovered that we have a lot in common.

Happy Society Pretends Not To Hate Teachers For A Week Week! 
Not that I won’t appreciate all the pittances I’ll get this week.
Jaspess II hates it even more, since there is no Intervention Specialist Appreciation Week, since her colleagues all hate her for making them do “extra work” (i.e. their actual damn job since sped kids aren’t just for ISes). ISes are doing God’s work, so I do my best to be extra kind to them. (I frequently jump in on IEP meetings when they need a gen ed teacher, even if it isn’t my kid of record.)
ETA: Oops, it’s not til next week. So you can still hate me this week. Rant about it still applies tho.
Ours is this week. They even updated the Staff lounge!
We might have our school-specific one this week since our Q4 all-staff meeting is this week.
