When a pitcher makes an error, all the runs that would otherwise be tagged as unearned should instead be earned.

Interesting. How about we charge earned runs to every field players’ errors? I mean, some errors lead to no runs, but others, well, they seem to be more consequential. “Unearned Runs Per Error” or something like that? Gets messy when there are two errors that combine to result in a run.

Watching them does tend to be hazardous to your health. I got appendicitis watching a Bears game when I was in college!

Yes, I have said that repeatedly.

At least insofar as the pitcher’s ERA is concerned.

In terms of “the Goodfellas have not given up an unearned run all season” maybe it should count as an unearned run. But it should hurt the individual pitcher’s ERA.

Why does Alec Anderson of the Buffalo Bills (#70) have a small German flag :germany: on the back of his helmet?

Nazi!!!

I think it’s the NFL seeking to become more international. I believe the rule is that if a player had relatives born in another country or lived in another country for at least two years they may wear that flag on their helmet.

Will capture dumb international people wanting to be fans. Cuz fits the demographic.

A.St. Brown’s Passer Rating, according to my calculations, is 135.5.

Is a batter’s eye required by rule in MLB? I know it’s been done everywhere for ages, but is it required?

You could create a home field advantage by switching from light to dark shirts every half inning if not required by rule. Nobody’s going to do that for 162 games, but it could be meaningful in the playoffs and particularly so if those seats were only sold then.

likely not required but swapping inning to inning is def not allowed IMO

I don’t know the answer to your question but I will add that the twins removed some trees from center field because batters complained about them.

From googles ai overview:

When Target Field opened in 2010, the batter’s eye area featured 14 black spruce trees. However, the trees were removed after hitters complained that they were distracting and affected their sight line. The trees swayed in the wind, dropped odd shadows, and made it difficult to pick up the ball. The trees were professionally uprooted, marked with an MLB hologram, and shipped to Bergen’s Greenhouse in Forest Lake.

How could they prohibit fans changing shirts?

Wait until you see Mohamed Sanu’s career passing stats

i took what you said for batters eye as black or consistently dark wall in CF. what fans do is what fans do
