Is it possible to truly become a positive person, from a negative one? Or is it only possibly to adopt behaviors and force yourself to consider the positive? I guess what I’m asking is, does the instinct to be negative ever naturally dissipate?
Short of ionization, probably not.
Depends on the length… three words or fewer I might capitalize them all. Longer than that I wouldn’t.

Please comment on the attached April TPS report
For me, depends on audience and what I want the subject to communicate:
-
If it’s a formal “report out”–Title Case
-
If it’s an email with a lot of information contained in the body–Title Case
-
If it’s a general email communication to an individual or small group–Sentence case
-
If the subject has all the information needed for any reader–Sentence case with an EOM ending.
What does a midlife crisis feel like? And how can you tell the difference between it and a regular old breakdown?
How many cheez balls (like the puffy cheetos) could i eat from that barrel in one sitting? I know it isnt more than 100% of them but thats all i have as a guess
Probably more than a handful on the low end as well.
You sure about that?
I have faith in you
Well, here’s how mine started:
I think the mid-life crisis is the critical examination of where you’ve been, and where you’re going, and often includes a substantial pivot. “I don’t like where I am and where I’m going, so it’s time to change some stuff in my life.” A regular old breakdown is more along the lines of, “I just can’t take this anymore. I quit.” and checking out.
Are you 1/2 way to your grave?
I always thought of a ‘mid-life crisis’ was a moment where you realized that you aren’t young any more and you start doing thigs to re-capture that youth. Like buying a sports car or deciding to take up snowboarding.
or that having escaped youth to this stage that it wasn’t as cool as you had been led to believe (or convinced yourself it would be).
Ever play Bid Whist?
It’s one of my favorite card games, and few people have ever heard of it these days let alone like to play it. I found a free Android app that’s pretty good.
I’ve heard of whist… a predecessor to bridge that was popular in the Victorian era. Is bid whist similar?
I’ve never played whist… just read about it. I have a fun book called “What Jane Austen Ate and Charles Dickens Knew” to help place context around Victorian literature and I’m sure that must be where I read about it.
It’s somewhat similar. All 3 are trick taking games that involve bidding and partners.
If anyone is interested, the free app I’m playing with on Android is Bid Whist - Expert AI by NeuralPlay LLC. So far I’m playing on mid level difficulty.
Is it Friday yet?
I’ve seen a bunch of ads lately for Ownwell.com, a company that tries to negotiate lower property tax assessments/bills. Out of curiosity, I put in my address. They told me that they can save me:
Summary
$0
Care to put in your address to see if you get a similar result? No, I don’t get commissions and have no affiliation.
Something like this would be a big deal in Texas where every year the news goes on and on about how to lower your outrageously high property tax bill.
Indeed, my old address there could supposedly save up to $500 or more.
For my current address (not in that state) they can only save me on insurance and utilities.
They don’t service my area either.
Here’s what they claim they can save me for the following addresses:
Current: $529
Former: $529
Older: $529
Mom’s: $529
Dad’s: $529
Brother 1: $529
Brother 2: $529
Brother 3: $529
Boyfriend: $529
I’m sensing a pattern…
(This is across several states, BTW.)
