Sometimes I keep mine on if I’m going in and out of places. I don’t mind wearing one so often will leave it on in between stores when running errands.
Likewise, if I’m visiting store A and then drive to store B for a visit there, I sometimes don’t even pull my mask below my chin while driving.
I don’t think twigs point is that you no longer need masks at all, but that better masks like n95s are easy to get now so the cloth masks aren’t really useful. I threw a few out, particularly the ones I didn’t like and others are scattered randomly around my apartment. I mostly use the n95s now rather than cloth masks.

I get that. I wear N95s now but still have other kinds of masks handy.
I have several cloth masks. Some I purchased and some were made by my sister. I’ll keep them around for a while.
Is it now considered acceptable to end a sentence with a preposition? …even if you write for the wall street journal?

Language is a living being, shifting and adapting, shaped by those who use it. If the audience accepts it, it becomes valid. And I think the “ending a sentence with a proposition” rule is outdated. Speaking or writing in a way so as to avoid it feels unnatural and choppy. So, this I’m a fan of.

Because it originates from a practice that was specific to grandfathers, so it would be inaccurate to change it to something gender-neutral?
Or because the usage of the term is not sexist?
Or because people are more interested in fighting actual sexism?
Or because no one cares?
Or some combination of all of the above?
i think it has kind of a negative connotation, and thus the men can just keep it
