usually when the treads are mostly gone
I am unusual as a hole develops in my shoes above my big toe before the tread wears outā¦.that is my signal to trash the shoes.
if I get a hole, it is by my pinky (very wide foot)
Is anyone else having trouble seeing likes on this forum? I get an alert that someone liked a post, I click on it, and the heart is just gone. If I refresh, it comes back. Happens on my phone and my PC.
they have been showing up later, even next day for at least a month
Not only that . . . but Iāll see that there are āx unread topics remainingā when the correct number is often x-1.
When the wear and tear is pronounced. Tread very worn down in a spot is one possible thing. Or they tilt instead of sitting straight up (suggesting you have blown them out some).
When i ignore those things i end up feeling it from the knees up to hips and back
As soon as there are bare spots in the tread I know itās time to retire then. Garden shoes.
if wearable, i will usually save an old worn pair for yard work, fishing or other dirty work
Allergies vs my dislike of taking medication - which will win?
I let allergies win for too long
What about taking medication do you dislike?
I take allergy medicine year round. It has been very helpful for me.
Whatās with all the weird-af AI-generated Jesus reels on the Book of Face lately?
I guess it means thereās something wrong with me that I canāt overcome. I donāt mind one off doses like Excedrin but I dislike long term medications.
I may have to start taking 2 Zyrtec daily. I cut the grass yesterday and all day afterward my sinuses have been
i do 1 a day. in the peak seasons itās 2 (one tab 12 hrs apart). covers a lot. beats the suffering.
Have you tried Flonase + Zyrtec? I do the Costco versions of these during allergy season. It takes a few days for Flonase to work. I decided itās time to start it and supplement with Zyrtec as needed.
i could try Flonase again. Iāve yet to use it consistently, but thereās always a first time for everything.
Yeah, consistency is my problem too. My allergies get better, I think Iāve passed the peak, quit meds, then nope, allergy season is still going.
