No, I’ve always assumed it was title ist. But Doug on KofQ called it tight-liced and I started wondering if I’d been wrong all along (not that it comes up often).

I have pondered that question for many years and concluded Canada is more likely to fragment than the USA.

rhymes with right-spiced? No. That’s just wrong.
I could see tight-list because some people are in to skipping syllables.

I’d only heard/said it with a long e, but heard it with a short e in an audiobook.

Pretty sure the soft e is correct. Hebrew word for nature iirc.

Saw one up close in Florida near where my parents lived. Never go too close though. A little bit scary.
