Random Political Thoughts

(Harris is as young as 46 in this photo, as it was her official AG of California portrait.)

I’m shocked Laura Loomer is 31 years old. I would have believed 44, 40, maybe 35 if you really insisted.

Knowing she’s 31 and going onto her Twitter feed… yeah, she’s old enough to be fully responsible for her vitriol. Don’t understand her following. It’s not like she adds something to the conversation, she just reposts things and hates.

Laura lists Project Veritas on her resume, that should be all you need to know where she sits in terms of honest presentation.

It looks like she is in the club with kim guilfoyle, although Kim is like 25 years older. They have both chosen weird cosmetic facial alterations that i guess gets them the attention they want.

Seems like the whole “Conservatives are weird” is also catching on in the UK

Weirdness must be a virus that conservatives have no immunity against. Maybe from a Wuhan lab? There have been recent outbreaks federally and provincially in Canada as well.

Corruption like this needs to be dealt with.

Canadian socons aren’t weird. Theyre just low iq assholes.

Which, surprisingly given it’s me, is an opinion I mostly keep to myself despite how often I run into these people.

I’ve always told my kids ‘dont breed with the locals. They look like us, but they ain’t us’, mostly as a way to tell them not to be racist and homophobic. Couple weeks ago a neighbour stops me while I was working in the yard. Asks about my son. Then tells me her daughter would be perfect for my son. Not kidding, ‘we don’t breed with the locals’ almost came out of my mouth lol.

I mentioned it to my son, who knows the daughter. He just said no way, the daughter is weird.

So I guess cooke you’re actually right lol.

Just localphobic?

Well you should see it around here. They’re walking around upright with skin suits and stuff, passing as normal people. But underneath that is some weird stuff. Sometimes the skin slips and they say stuff like ‘sit down. Boys don’t dance’ or ‘he’s failing school bit that’s ok because he’s doing well in hockey’. Or my favourite, ‘i heard she’s a lesbian’.

I didn’t respond to the last one. But I did, for the rest of the evening, every time someone mentioned someone, I’d say in a hushed voice ‘i heard she was a lesbian’ lol.

Hmmm, what does Ukraine offer? Might have to spend a few hours rethinking who the good guys are. /s

Meep posted that article (or a similar one) in a thread about demographics.

I think I got the quadrivalent Gardasil … well after becoming sexually active because it did not exist before that time.

What I recall reading at the time was that it was FDA approved for four particular strains of HPV but there was strong evidence that it actually protected against quite a few other strains as well… they just hadn’t jumped through the hoops to be allowed to advertise it as such.

From the article:

The results underscore the importance of working to increase uptake of the HPV vaccine in the U.S., said Schmeler. Scotland, for example, introduced routine immunization in schools in 2008, and close to 90% of students in their fourth year of secondary school (equivalent to 10th grade in the U.S.) in the 2022-2023 school year had received at least one dose of the vaccine. In the U.S., where HPV vaccines are not administered in school, uptake among adolescents ages 13 to 17 is a little over 60%.

My oldest two kids just got their 2nd and final dose earlier this week. Easiest decision ever to make, I don’t understand why the rate is only 60%.

why do you hate our freedoms? : )

So many WASP parents when I was a kid were sure that the HPV vaccine would turn their kids into sluts.

In their mind, the HPV vaccine was the green light for their children to have unprotected sex with every boy and girl they encountered, because the threat of cervical cancer in a few decades was the thing that stopped their horny yet very pragmatic young minds.

Little or no thought was given to talking with your children and teaching them life lessons.

Westerville is one of the more well-to-do districts in the Columbus OH area. So, this is actually pretty huge that a board would change its mind about something. (It helps when you keep exposing LifeWise’s tendencies to hire depraved people as program leaders and to hide their “curriculum” materials from parents and to basically tell students with special needs to fuck off. Oh my.)
