I don’t know who Craig Murray is, so I don’t know if he’s intentionally downplaying the situation in Ukraine or not, but just because the children are whisked away to Russia for “re-education” rather than being killed doesn’t preclude the possibility it is genocide. On icc-cpi.int I’m seeing pages for both Netanyahu and for Putin. One of their pages mentions war crimes against children, and it’s not Netanyahu’s. (That’s not to say they haven’t both committed such war crimes though.)

It seemed clear to me the post was pretty symmetric, commenting equally on Gaza and Ukraine. Ukraine has shockingly low child death rate. Gaza has inexcusably high child death rate. Therefore, Gaza has genocide, Ukraine has no genocide. I thought the genocide in both Gaza and Ukraine were widely known about, so it was surprising to me that he chose Ukraine for his war-without-genocide point of comparison. Both are pressing current events, so it was not clear to me his post was more about one than the other.
Perhaps Putin aspires to that level of death (I don’t know him any better than Mr. Murray), but I’d assumed he was content (with regard to children) to keep kidnapping tens of thousands of them and giving them Russian citizenship so he could conscript them to fight against their homeland.
I’ve now read about Mr. Murray on Wikipedia, to try to decide his intent. It seems to me he is much more involved in Israel/Gaza/Palestine than Ukraine, as the only Ukraine/Russia item I could find on his Wikipedia page was that he thought it unlikely Russia used the Novichok nerve agent on the UK double agent in Salisbury. Wikipedia says he is a human rights activist. It seems clear to me he was thinking more about Gaza than Ukraine when making his comment, though I wish he wouldn’t have implied there is no Ukrainian genocide. Denying one evil isn’t necessary to condemn or emphasize another. Still, I should have researched him before implying his intents may be ill.
Upon reflection my post did the same thing I was accusing Mr. Murray of—I minimized the situation in Gaza by relegating that genocide to a parenthetical in my post, while I was trying to remind that the genocide in Ukraine exists, contrary to the implication in Mr. Murray’s post. My comparing the ICC pages was juvenile and unproductive. The genocides in Gaza and Ukraine are both real and devastating, and IMO should not and need not be minimized to make a point about each other. I’m sorry for my post, and I will strive to consider more closely before posting in the future.
To be a little more accurate: Gaza has a TON of children. Far more than Ukraine. Googly A.I.'s says 45% to 50%.

Out of 16431 civilian deaths in Ukraine, 791 were children. What is that guy talking about?
Well, if 791 is the numerator, that’s 263K as the denominator for .3%. What are the Gaza numbers based on? I seem to remember lack of distinction between soldiers and civilians in Gaza’s public health ministry data.

Apparently, Iran tracked Trump down to the floor of the hotel he was staying at in Turkey.
So they freaked out because Iran wants to kill Trump (given the US killed the Iranian leader and his family).
Probably worried about drones with that setup when he golfs.
Going to be interesting when Trump’s 4 year term is over because Iran is not going to magically take him off their kill list.
Even then, a known tRump is easier to manipulate than an unknown who-knows-who.
Keeping him alive might actually be the goal of a smarter Iran.
There might be dumber Iranians working this plot, though.
Adversaries of the US want to keep the Glorious Leader in power, because his continued reign is so destructive to the American society and foreign relations, and Vance is likely competent enough to end the current trends.
That would be interesting to see that thing, whatever it is, taking out a small drone.
Also, thinking his kids are also at a heightened risk, if there is an actual threat here in the US.
