Political truths that are worth sharing but aren’t funny

I’m fine with proportional voting. I would use “mixed member proportional” rather than multi-member districts.

That’s better than non-gerrymandered single member districts, but it’s a bigger political lift.

Right, I think the question is why would anyone take advantage of this now? For one thing, why pay for something when they could have gotten it for free and presumably didn’t take advantage of that just a very short time ago? Why the US when there are a lot of cheaper citizenship-by-investment programs in countries that have lower taxes, perhaps even better business opportunities, and (I really hate to have to say it, as it seems unpatriotic to even admit it) more freedom?

The thing I find more amazing is that they apparently didn’t have a few demos lined up. I would have thought they’d foot the bill for a few examples to hype.

No comment on the traitor part.

I think he does not consider himself a rapist as his fragile ego needs to believe his rape victims wanted it. As evidence the first part of his quote which is often left of “When you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the pussy.”

…although, in fairness, isn’t the $400m being provided by folks who want something from the administration, rather than ordinary taxpayers?

No, there are already rumblings about the govt funding the ballroom.

At least the party of fiscal responsibility is in power. /s

Yes, it sounds similar to Mexico will pay for a big wall.
