Additionally confusing is that the left wing political party uses the American spelling - Labor.

Yep, forgot about that, always a blend of American and British customs.

Back to our regularly scheduled update, Labor with a decisive win today, taking enough seats for a majority government while the opposition leader will also lose his seat.

Which is remarkable given that his party had just won the Queensland (where his seat is in) state elections for the first time in 10 years just 7 months ago.

Back to our regularly scheduled update, Labor with a decisive win today, taking enough seats for a majority government while the opposition leader will also lose his seat.

So many parallels in this election to Canada’s. Carney would have had a majority here if our election had been two weeks earlier: his polling margin greatly diminished near the end.

If Capitol police had not stood firm in the face of these Trumpers, there’s no telling what might have happened to the members of Congress who were sheltering inside. It’s unfortunate that an officer had to deploy deadly force, but he was justified in his actions and has been cleared of any wrongdoing.
Trump has previously stated that he is a “big fan of Ashli Babbitt” and thinks she was a “really good person who was a big MAGA fan,” which is a strong indication that she was anything but a “really good person.”
