Ah, that old dichotomy. For “laughing with someone”, there clearly is humor. For “laughing at someone”, there may well be no truth. Perhaps it belongs in the “Republicans say the darnedest things” thread, but the statement is not explicitly about Republicans.
I don’t think whoever is posting such things is looking for a laugh.
