Boycotting certainly isn’t. Misusing the office like that may not be illegal either, probably isn’t

My understanding is using your office to promote a private company is a violation of WH ethics rules, but a) the President is exempt from the ethics rules and b) Musk isn’t a WH employee, so no foul.

Re: the Onion story, in his initial “quote” they have RFK Jr talk about color corrector, which is a different product than concealer yet he uses them interchangeably. Hopefully this is intentional and meant to convey that he doesn’t know much about makeup either.

he should ask vance

IFYP. He’s probably at least 90th percentile in daily makeup and hair product in the US. Throw in shoe lifts and adult diapers if you like.

That’s a real picture? Not surprising, but that is still nuts.

Probably. Laying of hands is a thing with many Christian denominations. I’ve done it plenty of times. I mean, not with Trump of course.

But if a group of people wanted to pray over a willing participant who was in the room, it would be quite normal to do this.

I’d even venture to say that Trump is not the first POTUS to be prayed over in this way. This is perhaps the least weird thing about Trump I’ve seen posted.

I remember that, or a very similar picture, being circulated in the news reporting of a national prayer service or something.

I thought it was fake because he wasn’t playing on his phone.
