If James Donald Vance honors the rights of trans folk, I’ll honor his preferred name.

I don’t think mocking someone’s name is ever the right call, even if they do it too.

Yeah, I don’t care for all the couch jokes either. I don’t like perpetuating myths.

I didn’t think they were his type but maybe that’s the best prison has to offer.

Vance’s people might not have thought the imagery through here.

Except that it looks like all the signs have been photoshopped to mostly remove the “Lyin’ Kamala” at the top.

actually, not photoshop. The top line got washed out on camera. Maybe a sticker to go over Biden, but a bit more glossy than the poster

and considering Harris will definitely not be the VP after this administration, I have no idea what she is being fired from.

Maybe they should actually invest in a new poster

I was trying to figure it out when Photoshop was claimed. The rightmost one of the top-left grouping looked a little questionable, but if Photoshop was being used then even that one was incredibly incompetent. Particularly in right-center next to Redhat we can clearly see the text, and also the clear text on the bottom of the left cluster would be just laughably incompetent if Photoshop.

Like “let’s just click once with the Blur tool and call it a day rather than erase it which is roughly as easy. I want people to feel this was altered rather than think it’s real.”

There’s video of it too, which looks equally dumb.

With the video I saw (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqKC_taUyQk), it becomes clear that it’s a function of the lighting. The TV lights on Vance add just enough glare on the primarily white signs to cause thin text to seem washed out on camera.

If they had used a thicker font or a dark background, it probably would have worked on camera.

I know that the JD Vance couch-love thing has been overdone…but this still amused me:
