Pi now calculated to 62.8 trillion digits

Summary

the last 10 digits are 7817924264

isn’t there always a computer constantly calculating the digits of Pi? Like, we know how to calculate it in so many different ways, the number of digits should be increasing constantly, no?

Why put this in the restricted section of the forum?

Why don’t they just go ahead and calculate all the digits?

I believe that their acceptance criteria is to calculate all but the last 10 digits.

We can’t let this kind of knowledge leak out to the Chinese government.

Yeah, but I think they had an error in the 43,613,732,003,399th place.

How would you prove me wrong or them right?

I just use 22/7 for pi.

This is why all your pi-related actuarials are off by approximately 0.04024994347706819758407983415198%.

Actuarial better.

That will be quite the celebration at next year’s Pi Day

I prefer Tau Day. It’s twice as nice as Pi Day.

Okay class, I know I’ve been having you use 3.14 in place of pi. Going forward, I want you to stop doing that and round your answer to 62.8 trillion digits.
