Hell, I’m “seasoned” enough to remember when part of the wait was the need for exam results slips to be printed and transit through the mail system.

That is what they are doing although I would imagine it is quite annoying to start studying for an exam for a month only to drop it and start something else.

One caveat…I do remember one CAS exam that was so effed up that I was convinced that I failed…but when results came out, I was surprised.
(Passing that exam was more about test-taking strategy than mastery of the material.)

The window is longer now. When i took exams, we all took them on the same day. I suppose the wait must be much longer for some candidates than for others.
I feel like it was always more than 2 months but less than 3.
But you could call the phone number and enter your candidate ID and the automated phone system would list all of the exams you just sat for and whether you passed or failed.
I’m so old I remember not needing to wait for results to come out to know what to study because the written answer exams were only offered one sitting per year. So pass or fail you were definitely taking a different exam next sitting because the one you just took isn’t even being offered the next sitting.

Best of luck to the MAS takers tomorrow. I hope you pass and things go well for MAS I and II.
Hopefully we’ll get confirmation on Exams 5-9 tomorrow for the release day and time.
Got 3 emails from CAS in the past 2 days.
None of them about exams. I really don’t care about your other stuff right now.

Maybe the CAS should’ve provided us a date and time for the announcement of the date and time of the exam results

And I remember people writing scripts to refresh the ao every second to see the results that someone would cut and paste lol…and they’d start running the scripts at 9am even though results weren’t released until 3 lol.
Those were the days of me manually swapping CPUs and ram from my web server over to the ao server for the day so the hardware could support the load. Thankfully, in ‘bad financial decisions’ id paid 30k to have a fibre line dragged down the street into the office so the feed wasn’t a slow down.
Nowadays neither feed nor hardware is even remotely a consideration

I guess we are gonna see something tomorrow on the announcement of when results will be. Since nothing has come out through today.
Really surprised it’s taking til Friday just to announce the date. I figured we’d have seen something the day MAS results came out or the day after 
Not sure why they would not announce the date yet if they already know when it is. If they do not have an exam release date yet that raises a whole other set up questions.
