Should have a “Futuristic things in Star Trek in use today” thread.
a sauce dispute. oh my
I might add the proliferation of " CBS affiliate WUSA-TV reported" and “WUSA reported” as part of that “WTF” response.

It can be arranged
Good Lord!
This guy was an online global salesman of lethal substances to those at risk of self harm.
The article says that people in the building picked through his stuff. Did none of them have the decency to give it back once they heard of the story? If I was in that building I would post it on the building chat, in the elevator, somewhere, saying “Dude has his stuff chucked in error, please return to unit 123”
If I was living in that building I would move out pronto or at least put some stuff in a storage unit. There might be others though who think “I can’t wait for the next wrongful eviction so I can pick through their stuff”
Of course not. #humannature #peoplesuck
Law suit
they’re tryin
The building is saying that the original lease was signed by this man’s ex-gf who has since moved away. He never changed the lease to his own name instead paying the rent every month. Therefore, this person was illegally subletting (a fact they seemingly did not know at the time) and had no right to be in the building.
Yeah saw that after reading the article. Going to be messy.
I think the guy who lost all of his stuff will end up getting recovery since the landlord did not perform due diligence in their eviction of the “illegal” tenant (e.g., serving notice in a timely manner, etc.).
There will also be the issue that the landlord was accepting of the sublease by accepting and cashing the rent payment for the rental.
When I first saw this story and a still shot, I assumed this was a fake or taxidermy bull. It wasn’t until I saw the video that I realized this was a real bull riding shotgun
I wonder how often that car gets washed.
