My simple solution to stop school bullying

Hey, I understand your frustration with school bullying, but making school optional might not be the most effective solution. Education is important, and everyone deserves the opportunity to learn in a safe environment. It’s unfortunate that bullying happens all the time, even in online spaces. I’ve personally dealt with harassment myself, and it’s not pleasant. I came across some info on how to deal with blackmailers while browsing online. It can be helpful in certain cases, so you might want to check out digitalinvestigation.com for more details. So, let’s work together to find solutions and create a positive learning environment for everyone.

Resurrecting this… I know a young woman (I want to say 19) whose mom still has a text monitoring app on her phone. So, she tells everybody not to text her and instead communicate on Facebook. She also moved half a country away to get away from her mom, and I would assume will be going no-contact sometime after graduating.

Am I the only one waiting for the edit for post #82?

No

Turns out the best way to stop school bullying is to find a place to buy quality fasteners and brads.

Anybody else terrified of CS ever gaining real power?

Its like a weird cross between nihilist and libertarian.

Needs to a P() >0 to start thinking about it.
Do you do this for every person you meet IRL and online?
Asking for a friend.

Nah. He just has some really far out mental bandwidth.

I agree. I also think he is no position to do any damage anywhere. I mean, he’s not in a prison writing a manifesto or anything.

I will go work for the California DOI so I can grant rate increases for everyone

People already work at the CA DOI trying to do that.
You’d have to be the Commissioner, an elected position. Good luck, we 're all counting on you.

Mods have already caught it and flagged it lol.

What does it say about me that these posts are a source of entertainment for me?

That you’re likely to watch the following pic for hours on end

I’ll believe it when I see it…

It could happen.

I have had filings objected to in FL and WA because they didn’t think I was taking enough rate.

I had something like that in Montana. We’d filed a decrease to just try to facilitate a quick approval (our schedule mod flexibility was more than enough to make up for the change in manual rates) and they were almost paternalistic in asking like ā€œare you sure you wouldn’t prefer higher?ā€
