I let one of the students run spotify in the car this weekend. Lots of afrobeats (since they’re from Kenya). Pretty cool, had some interesting upbeat music.

So I just found out Greg Brown passed away in February. Who is Greg Brown? among other things he was the guitarist for Cake and wrote on of the songs that really got me into exploring Alt rock. Peace in death, dude. You’ve gone the distance. Here is his masterpiece.
