Milestones Toward an Authoritarian Government

I looked it up. Any “unofficial markings” immediately invalidates the passport. And, by law, the passport is government property, so there could be penalties. But “fraudulent intent” is what would make the penalty big. In others administrations, this would mean you wouldn’t have to worry about anything other than having an invalid passport for, say, copying his birthday card to Epstein using his signature. (unfortunately, his signature on the passport is less pubic-hair-like (shorter) than on the birthday card.)

Bezos allows saIe of 86 47 tee shirts on Amazon and I doubt if Trump gets a royalty,

I’m guessing the administration has no issues with all the 8646 gear being sold on Amazon.

Utah says “no more using VPNs to get around anti-porn ID requirements”.

He is beginning to (again) float not running an election. As he increasingly loses grip of the international situation (which is causing domestic economic damage in the US) his authoritarian tendencies are very likely to get worse.

So, if that were to happen how many Americans would be out on the streets protesting?

What does having an election do for the DOW?

He believes he has been the greatest POTUS of all time. The reality of only 35% of Americans thinking he is doing a good job is impossible for him to accept.

But . . . that’s pretty much 100% of his base . . .

Event occurred a year ago, book talking about it is coming out now. Massive violation of the 4th amendment was planned, with the objection to it being unreliable data, not that it was grossly immoral.

The operations would target immigrants who were already under orders to leave the country, and federal agents would be instructed to enter their last known addresses without judicial warrants. Those captured would be fast-tracked for deportation without appeal, the DHS officials said.

But Vitello disagreed, the officials said. He argued to Scott and his aides that the last known addresses of the 700,000 people with previous orders of removal hadn’t been verified recently. He said he worried that U.S. citizens could get wrongfully swept up in the surges if agents entered homes without warrants, which require law enforcement agencies to show evidence to judges to gain access.

Word soon got back to Noem, and within days, Vitello was reassigned to direct training for incoming ICE officers, the officials said. Todd Lyons, the acting ICE director who recently announced he will be leaving the agency, took his spot. Noem didn’t respond to a request for comment about the reassignment.

Oh joy.

Wondering if they dropped any of the racist groups more aligned with the racists in the administration.

White Nationalists are the true patriots according to this admin.

The resources wasted on this are staggering. And harassment – 150 subpoenas?

State-level, not federal, but…

let me guess - they were “uppity”?
