I just saw my neighbour take his cat to the vet. Chopper’s lost a lot of weight… 
ETA: Chopper is diabetic and needs insulin 2x/day.
Heartbreaking. We love them so much and they don’t know why things are wrong. They are so innocent.

Thanks all. I know it’s not like, a parent or a partner or something, I’m just having a shitty day realizing that maybe we have months but not years. I’m researching cat diapers for fuck’s sake. It’s frustrating when she can be the happiest snugglebug and has the biggest motor, and we got her a few more years by dieting her from 16 pounds (free-feeding while not moving much) down to 7. Well, when it happens she’s going to get a couple days of all the food she can eat.

This morning, I started working on my computer and I hear a little bit of what sounded like static. I thought it was coming from my personal laptop that’s charging on the ground next to me so I open it up to see if I’m hearing the noise from it. It’s not the source of the noise. However, I see the surge protector, and it’s got cat vomit on the switch 
. Turns out that is the source of the noise, accompanied by a sizzling noise and burning smell. Darn kitty fried my surge protector! No Temptation cat treats for him!

2 out of 3 cats went to the vet this weekend and it cost me over $900. THEY ARE LUCKY THEY ARE SO DAMN CUTE.

- Cat discovered the cat grass we’re growing for him and decided to treat it as an all you can eat buffet. What’s not pictured is a storage bin on the balcony with more cat grass growing.
- I had to close my door for a meeting. I came out to a huge pile of undigested cat food. Thanks Bubs

FWIW I’ve found that buying live wheat grass at some grocery stores can be cheaper than buying the wheat grass kits sold for cats. It’s certainly more convenient. I have one cat that loves the stuff, and my dog likes it too. The other cat doesn’t care about it.

OMG! So much this! Our two terrors have something against toilet paper as well. But only in certain situations. A loose roll is fair game. A roll on the holder is not touched as long as the holder is embedded into the wall. If the holder is just attached to the wall, the paper will be shredded. I can’t figure out the holder thing, there is still plenty of room to get at the TP just not from the back. And how to they ruin so much so quickly?
