We almost made it through a Monday without losing anyone (and if I type slow enough, we will have made it), but alas, another has fallen. We also have 4 folks standing at the Cliff of Elimination, but those folks still have some fight in 'em, so don’t think that last game will be a gimme - they rarely are!

Thanks, I had a good time! You must have really gotten me figured out after that first game I’m glad that last set of throws was interesting though, three throws to determine the winner!

I hadn’t seen the results until now as I was prepping on Friday for an SOA FSA test on Monday—if it turns out I used up all my luck on the test rather than the RPS tournament, I can’t say I’ll be too disappointed

Quick Summary:

Happy Tuesday! And this Tuesday brings us the first appearance of the note, which tells is we now have a Winner-Take-All Game 7 on our hands!!! BruteForce and DoctorWho have had a tight back-and-forth match going on, which leads us to this moment where we finally find out who will advance to the Sweet Sixteen - there’s no longer a margin for error for either player!

Meanwhile we had the first appearance of a #1 seed (which the regions are named after), and soyleche came into the arena… and stumbled (unless that was just a fake-out - you never know how people plan out their matches - ya always gotta take the long view here!).

Glancing over at the cliff, we still have 4 folks over there (though that doesn’t include our match participants, so we actually have 6 folks who are just one throw away from being eliminated). No pressure there, but, yeah… be careful - this could be it! :eep:

Quick Summary:

Wow - quite the variety pack in this update! We’ve got a little something for everyone!

We have lost two more players, including one from our first game of the tournament, Game 7 between BruteForce and DoctorWho. It took a couple of throws, but ultimately BruteForce prevailed and earned the right to face the skysn93, the current Regional titleholder.

But just as one match finishes, another one appears - this time it’s in the SteveGrondin region, where Ezekial_Cumberland and LINUS have gone back-and-forth all match. Now there’s only one last back and/or forth to consider - another great finish ahead for the audience to enjoy!

With the current goings-on, the cliff edge population has temporarily shrunk, but it won’t be long until others are nearing that point… so stay tuned for all the drama, and keep those throws coming!

Quick Summary:

The match was decisive - one throw was all it took, and when all was said and done, EzekialCumberland remained standing, and with that earned the 13th seat at the Sweet Sixteen table.

While wait for the remaining 3 seats to be filled there, we have one that could result in our first entrant of the Elite Eight! We all know VA plays the long game here, but still one might be a little stickier than intended… should be interesting to see how VA works through it!

Meanwhile, BruteForce is working extra hard over here! Immediately after going the distance and winning Game 7, the next match is a four-throw match - our first of the tournament, I believe! If that how Game 1 is gonna go, BrtueForce’s endurance is going to be tested!
