GGG (good game girl) Echo. I guess typing with paws can be slow. I started worrying when you tied it up.
I have to celebrate. I made the final 4 once and this is one of the few times I’ve made it out of the first round since.

Ditto. The only way I’ve made it out of the first round since my appearance is via byes*. Appreciate the experience when you get there, people!
*a slight exaggeration but mostly true.
Don’t worry, I’ll send you right back to the first round next year.
I hate Illinois puppy kickers!
Game on, and start counting down to expulsion @Actuary321 !
good game soymilk
And @UltimateAnyone thanks for modding!
Quick Summary:
First of all, Happy Day to all y’all! Gotta celebrate the important holidays here… and apparently that’s what the folks in the JFG Region are doing, because they sure ain’t makin’ no throws!
Meanwhile everyone has shown up in all the other regions, and the Friday attitude has kicked in, as no game went more than 2 throws… and that works for me as well!
We did have one match finally slip into , bit just outta necessity - the back-and-forth match between EC and MtnHawk was knotted up at 2-2 going into this match, so someone was gonna be living on the edge afterwards - now we just gotta see if EC can bounce back to bring this to a Game 7, or will we have our first Region titlehholder dethroned?
Stay tuned for more action, and keep sending in those throws!

I see that SnowSteveWhite finally showed up to being the slow, meticulous process of losing.
What are you going to eat when you advance?

…and if I don’t advance, :crow:

It’s like the dreaded two-goal lead!
Quick Summary:
The action just got cranked up a notch in the JFG region, where both matches are now just a throw away from being completed! JFG took the efficient route, getting there in one throw, whereas TedHoffman had to really work for it, needing four throws before securing the win.
OldTimer and WishBear join EC on the ledge, who moved there last update. At this time EC is still on the ledge, but not that MtnHawk didn’t try (and that’s a reasonable strategery for EC, using the weekend to get combobulated and work on the response). The other match in the EC region is resembling the first - a good ol’ back-and-forth is breaking out there as well.
VA has started out strong in defense of the VA Region, needing just two throws to win two games, whereas soyleche and BruteForce were equally as efficient, but with the opposite winner. So far Rock has won all 4 matches in the VA Region this round - let’s see how long that lasts!
Finally, in the TNLinus Region…
TNLinus is pulling the shrewd tactic of eating popcorn while waiting for the opponent to throw first - pretty sneaky there, you RPS veteran you! Meanwhile 1695814 joined Linus in the
, but missed the part of not submitting throws, which skysn93 took advantage of to narrow the gap.
We may or may not have a weekend update, depending on how many throws are submitted and if the host notices in a timely matter. In any event, hope y’all had a great Pi Day, and it leads into a great weekend! (But yes, keep sending in the those throws! )

Quick Summary:
Happy St Patrick’s Day to y’all! It’s a great excuse to celebrate or drown your sorrows, depending on what’s happening here, right? Right!
I’d say the theme of this update is the dominance of our Regional Titleholders - they’re showing why they are #1 seeds! In 3 of the 4 regions the #1 seeds are currently a cumulative 10-1, which includes JFG becoming the first entrant into the Elite Eight! VA and TNLinus have also pushed their opponents to the brink… and that cliff’s edge is starting to get a little crowded, now that we’re up to FOUR players living there now. (But note that one of those cliffdwellers is EC - only MtnHawk has seemed to figure out a #1 seed… at least for now. )
There’s only two ways to get off that cliff - battle back, or fall to your elimination. Stay tuned to see what happens to that perilously placed quartet!! (And keep sending in those throws! )
