Interesting personalized license plates we've seen

I don’t remember anything else distinctive about the IIXIIX license plate car (even what kind it was) in terms of bumper stickers or whatnot that fits with the white supremacist possibility. Scary, but I’d be stupid to think there aren’t any of them out there.

(“plate” in English = “plaque” in French)

That’s dumb.

I hate tofu and I eat meat, but LVTOFU is a perfectly innocuous vanity plate… unless there’s some vile interpretation that’s over my head (always a possibility). Certainly if I saw that license plate I would assume the intended meaning.

The fact that Colorado and Virginia have also denied the license plate leads me to believe it might not be some crazy right-wing thing though. But… :woman_shrugging:

I assume it’s too close to “LUV TO FU…” or “LUV TO F. U.” :man_shrugging:

Just the FU, was enough, without trying to figure out the rest

Ah, I see. Ok, I can see not allowing that then.

I must have a gutter-brain, because I saw the R rated interpretation immediately and I couldn’t immediately figure out what the vegetarian option would possibly be.

And for the record, I ate tofu on Sunday.

Evidently you liked it, but didn’t love it.

Based on the bumper sticker, she’s a dog person, not a fighter.
