That was the plate, just a 3. Not any sort of special government plate or anything, just a regular plate with a 3 on it. Not sure what it might mean.

My grandpa’s brother, in rural Idaho, had a small number (like 3) for his license plate - but that was because he was the 3rd person to request one in the county way back when.

I have heard it is a status thing in RI to have a low number plate. Some guy tried to transfer a low number plate to his kid or something, but was rejected.
