They obviously mean 110+ or at least 110. That is how I have seen it stated in various reports where they seem to care a little more about being accurate in their words.

The heat is getting to em. I was there, yeah, it affected even my brain

Just a poor editing job of that headline.

lol at the columns “New Snow” and “Snow Depth” in a chart for Phoenix.

Not only that, but it’s more like a “hit safely in games” streak. I mean, the high temperature is only for a short period of time. It is the fucking, extremely high LOWS that irked me. 100 at midnight. 100 at 8AM (don’t really care about the temp when I’m asleep). Was there a few days last week. Not the best use of a vacation, but I was with bro-in-law and sis-in-law-in-law at a nice resort (Westin Kierland) where they have points.

No such thing IMO

Same situation as yours, bro: Wife made me go.

How does the 12oz meal have that many more calories than the 9oz portion?

They must drown it in the parmesan and cheese/garlic sauce!!! :yum:

Kinda what I was thinking. It is the same sized chicken breast with tons of topping.

Does the “Beyond Steak” refer to something other than steak or is that the fake meat stuff?

I’m gonna guess that the menu is from a steak house . . . and the “beyond steak” is offerings “beyond steak” that they have (note that the two entries here are not steaks).

Who looks at calories on the menu?

I’ve gotten the 12-oz option twice. It was two chicken breasts with a thin layer of cheese, and they were delicious. But I imagine the 9-oz option should be the same, except smaller portions. I don’t think it is the case that the 12-oz options got different toppings than the 9-oz; the calories should scale up apart from the salad (and whatever other side is selected)

Who doesn’t?

I’d be wiling to bet that the 9-oz is an error and it’s 6-oz in which case you would get one piece of meat instead of two. Then each piece of meat would be 470 calories and the salad would be 180.

Many people do. Not all of us have beach bods.

“Your menus state that the parmesan crusted chicken is 650 calories for a 9-oz portion and 1,120 calories for a 12-oz portion. I don’t see how that is mathematically possible. Ignoring the side salad and additional side, the additional 3-oz of chicken alone would be 1,120 - 650 = 470 calories and so a 9-oz portion would have to be at least 470 x 3 = 1,410.”

See if I get a response.

Some of us have beached bods.

I don’t, and that is why I don’t have a beach bod.

I certainly don’t have a ‘beach body,’ but calorie count has never kept me (or induced me to) from ordering a meal. Calories listings are like BMI: semi-useful.

There are 614 cals in 8 oz of steak, but 300 in 8 oz of pasta (plus 4 tbsp of normal pasta sauce is 18 cals).

If you were concerned with calories, which would you order?

I’m in the DTNF boat. I don’t count calories (but know many who do) which may have something to do with my lack of a beach bod.

Well, I don’t count them, but I do estimate them, cuz actuary.
I also estimate protein grams, and I never get enough in a day.
