Turn, turn, turn.
I don’t know how to do that when I’m on my butt on the ground.
Go that way really fast. If anything gets in your way: turn.
That’s the part I have trouble with.
rn. and I still want my $2
i’ve never been to north dakota
After the Olympics, everything seems go goddamed easy.
Was on the lake for the first time in a while this summer. Saw a boat that was specially designed to generate a large wake, and a kid was wakeboarding behind it.
I have seen a tornado and it was really cool, but I didn’t have my camera with me and it was before the time when I had one on my phone.
I may have accidentally freaked out my kids tho…
But it was cool. In my next life I’m so gonna be a meteorologist.
Oddly enough, I’ve seen plenty of tornados in my dreams.
Like, eerily close to one (or many).
Usually I’d be hanging out with my friends and there’d suddenly be like 10 tornados in the distance, and 5 seconds later they’d be right next to us tearing the city apart.
It’s a frequently recurring theme.
I want to be in that alternate reality. But then I wake up, which means…if dreams are parallel universes, those versions of me are probably dead.
The only tornado I have ever seen was out in the gulf from a condo in Panama City Beach when I was in high school. It was cutting right to left (West to East) . That was a cool place to see one. It was not very big at all. Looked like a long bendy pencil. I guess they call those waterspouts.
I have now seen The Godfather. I did not know that turnpikes were a thing in the 40’s. Or sunglasses.
Did you enjoy it?
It’s been long enough since I’ve seen The Godfather that I no longer recall details.
But construction on the Garden State Parkway began in 1946. Pennsy Turnpike started in 1940.
Sunglasses became popular in the 1920s although prototypes date way earlier than that.
The Philadelphia and Lancaster turnpike was started in 1792…

Never have I ever been to Canada
I have two main recurring dreams.
One is a tornado near me (usually I am in a car). Never seen one in real life.
Other is plane crash (witnessed from the ground). Have mostly lived on flight paths or v close to airports. But never seen such a disaster
That’s funny that tornado is a recurring theme for you as well.
I’ve never witnessed or dreamed of planes crashing as a bystander.
I have dreamed of being in a plane that crashed though. Woke up almost immediately upon impact.
I also get the recurring dream of witnessing a plane crash from the ground. No offense, but maybe we should never meet (or at least not under a flight path).
Disagree. I’ve had caviar at a couple of fancy weddings in new Jersey. Most people don’t like it, or more likely, don’t like to try new foods at weddings. But I ended up eating a lot of caviar at both events, because it’s delicious and was going begging.
I don’t like it enough to pay what it costs, but I’ll happily eat it again if i don’t have to pay for it.
(I’m willing to pay for foie gras)
