This is all I know (or maybe need to know) about Mullin
**One of Mullin’s most talked about moments in the Senate came early into his tenure when he challenged a union leader to a fight in the middle of a hearing.
The incident occured while the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions was hearing testimony from Sean O’Brien, president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, one of the country’s biggest unions in November 2023.
When questioning O’Brien, Mullin brought up a social media post in which O’Brien called the senator a “greedy CEO who pretends like he’s self made” and said he should “quit the tough guy act in these Senate hearings”.
“You want to run your mouth, we can be two consenting adults, we can finish it here,” Mullin said before he stood up, and motioned to take his wedding ring off.
Mullin was then scolded by another member of the committee who told Mullin to sit down.**
Can’t cut someone out of the inner circle as they know too much. Reassign wtihin the group or kill, those are the choices for all these skeezeballs.

…although I do wonder what the cost would be to remove the problematic wrapping.
To be fair, they were simply refrigerated trucks, and money was saved by not having to paint “ICE” on them.

That should be a requirement for any LEO driving on the job who expects they could be detaining people, alongside visible badges and no masks.
I don’t understand why it’s legal for unidentified, masked people in unmarked vehicles to just haul people off at gunpoint.

US Citizen detained upon entering the country by flying into Chicago, held for 43 hours, transferred to NW of Milwaukee, then released in WI with a dead phone.
what freaking job are they going to do? the issue is that the people trained in funneling travelers through the system are calling in sick and/or working slower.
the untrained-for-their-actual-job goon squad isn’t going to funnel anyone through anything. they are going to walk around heavily armed and largely untrsuted on how to act in the environment. every ICE-related episode in that setting is going to be make delays worse. when they pounce on someone who is brown - that won’t speed any lines up at all. (brown-skinned human will be one less through the line)
or, when protesters who dngaf show up and just walk around (pre-TSA screening) and blow whistles at the goons.

If I was a TSA agent that had continued to show up, I think this might be something to make me stay away. And especially if I was a POC, of course.
