as noted above. scotus ruling the president can’t be charged w anything combined with pardon power means…anyone carrying out his wishes will never see consequences. lower court orders don’t matter when the other rule is laminated in the wallet

mrs f has been doing the school run for a family we are friends with this week as the ICE thugs terrorize brown people by being around. the parents are afraid to leave the house for fear of not returning home and the kids being…whatever happens to the kids. it’s not a good week
This is absurd. Surely there are more reasonable ways of dealing with situations like this.
This kind of stuff happened in the first Trump term as well. Agree it’s ridiculous, and it is intentional imo.

Actually, the problem of young kids appearing before immigration judges transcends administrations. The sole difference with the current administration is the extent to which our Glorious Leader is prioritizing deportations.
Yes, the Trump people seem to revel in it. iirc Obama/Biden folks pushed for hiring more immigration attorneys to handle the back load.

lots of reports of ICE rolling around my town this weekend. including looping around the catholic church that has a huge spanish language mass. pulled weapons on an older white couple who were also looping after them to keep people alert. good times
