My bil gave me a few. Holy Hanna they’re antique. I think my father in law probably bought them in the 70’s. I’m not wasting my time with those. I don’t need high end, but something relatively modern at least.
Canadian tire has fishing poles on clearance right now, so score. Picked up four rod reel combos 2 @$22 and 2@34. Close to 400 before markdown.
Yeah, I’m trying to decide how much precision I need. I’m thinking generally in a house, it’ll be kind of obvious. Heat comes in around windows, through light switches and outlets on exterior walls. I kind of feel like if I just know which areas are the prime offenders then I can focus on those and probably figure it out. I think.
I would agree that a high degree of precision is not needed for your task. You could also hire a pressure test to find air flow issues.
I’ve thought about this, but I’ll wait a bit. My windows haven’t been touched in probably 50 years, so right now I’d cry if I knew the whole truth, lol. Hoping to get the windows rebuilt and new storm windows in two years or so, moving up the list.

I just finished up the 25# bag of flour that i bought during covid.

Just got a quote for a chippendale door. Wow. $1050 for door and install.
I have no concept of whether that’s low or high… I’ve never bought a door before.
