Trust me - that’s not bragging.
…whereas in the Before Time, I was on the road about 50% of the time.
When writing that post, I did consider that I could offload a couple of items to my backpack, but it’s simpler just to lug stuff around in a wallet rather than trying to remember which card is stored where.
I don’t know how you’re living without the extra hair ties, at least one pen, and emergency Tylenol.
In my wallet, from memory:
DL
Insurance card
Cards: two ATM cards (diff banks), Mastercard, Discover, Macys, Target, Costco, AARP towing, library
Some cash
A couple of business cards with some cryptic bank info.
“mad money” $50 bill, folded and stashed
That’s about it.
You don’t need that one. They can look it up with your driver’s license. Go ahead & shred it.
It’s there to impress the chicks with my $750 credit limit.
Carry on!
Only one? I have health, drug, and dental. Plus I used to have to carry a hospital ID card, but they seem to have eliminated that one.
I see you put the largest denomination of dollar bills you have on the outside just like I do.
I miss that imoji  I still have the muscle memory to quickly type it
Only one. I never did get my dental card, but I have the app. My drug plan is part of my health plan.
Though I need to add my Metrocard and vaccine card to the list.
Does it stop bullets too???
A musical reorganization project has begun. It hardly seems musical from the purchases.

School sports are the only thing I use cash for these days.
I moved my vaccine card to the safe, after keeping it with my full passport and work permit (which do live in my backpack). The only time I’ve ever been asked for my physical vaccine card was when a vaccinator wanted to add a shot to it.
I keep a QR code to the state’s health department record and a pdf version of the card on my phone. Never had to use the QR code, but I have had to upload the pdf twice, for the ArriveCAN app and for Hawaii’s travel system when that was still operational.
Every time I’ve been asked to demonstrate my vaccination status, the party requesting the info was satisfied with a photo of my card. One employer checked my info against the state registry to be certain. No one has asked for the actual card, except places that wanted to jot down a new dose of vaccine.
Yeah, that lives at home.
Y’all carry a lot of shit in your wallets.
I have my DL, Costco card, 1 debit card, 1 credit card, medical insurance card, and at the moment I have 2 loyalty card for some coffee shops.
But I do thank you for making me look again because the Costco card is leftover from when I lived close to a Costco and was more likely to stop for gas randomly and I haven’t been to either coffee shop in a while or forget I have the loyalty card when I do go soo all 3 should come out.
Everything else I might need for any reason is stored on my phone or accessible via my phone.
CONDOMS! Oh man, I may need a bigger wallet ntitai
